“My work is comprised primarily of glass formed with processes that include fusing, casting, and lamp working, sometimes combined in the same piece. The technical aspects of glass art are intriguing and inspiring to me.
Glass as an artistic medium interests me because it represents both permanence and fluidity, because it is a mysterious substance and one which represents ancient traditions, and because it both transmits and reflects light in interesting ways as a three dimensional material.
