Gallatin Art Crossing has added a new sculpture to its collection, a stainless steel statue titled “Vualo de Aves,” installed on the path to Bozeman City Hall.
Jesse Swickard of Oregon created the piece, which was bought with a grant from the Downtown Business Partnership. Gallatin Art Crossing now has 12 public art installments to enhance the cultural experience of Bozeman.
“We purchase one new installation almost every year,” said Chuck Peck, president of Gallatin Art Crossing. “We like to put them in view as permanent installations so that tourists and the public can have an enhanced experience in town.”
